This sheet includes the highlights of what is happening.

On the top is says the total number of test cases and how many testers are assigned.

Then there is a section in the middle which we can update on a daily basis .ie how many test cases were assigned and how many we actually executed on that day.

The last section mentions how many total test cases have been planned and how many of those we actually tested so far.

The filling of status report is a team effort. There are chances that every tester writes his/her own status report and send it to the team lead and at the end of the day he consolidates all the reports and creates his own status report.
