Bugzilla is an open source tool by Mozilla firefox team.

Here in order to create a new bug we need the following

• Name - Give a name
• Category - Choose a category under which the bug should be logged.
• Severity - severity of the bug
• Description - Then in the description we can give steps to reproduce and attach a screen shot as well.
• Actual resutls
• Expected results
• Time- time at which the bug appeared.
• Blocks - if bug blocks something
• Comments

After the bug is submitted and we go to home page and see the bugs created by me.

A bug in bugzilla can have any status like confirmed ,open(when developer started working on it ) or resolved when developer resolves it.

Resolved have sub types like fixed or duplicate(if some other tester also raised that bug) or invalid(if he thinks bug is not valid anymore).

If we are searching a bug in bugzilla we can make use of advanced search options and here we can choose product,components or status of the bug
